Another Nowrouz!

Last year at this time I was in Canada spending and celebrating Nowruz with my brother and his family. Also, I had this chance to meet one of you guys after a while; I stayed with Siamak and Kati in their beautiful and cozy home in cold Montreal...and now after one year I have time to post a photo!
I wish you all a wonderful Nowrouz.

Shiraz

Last week I had an e-mail form a classmate; Majid Aminzadeh. He has kindly sent a photo of his younger brother (!) and some other mates!

Good news is that it's not just me who has gray hairs and bad news is that none of them are in propecia-deficiency state, yet ;-)

Enjoy!

Nowruz

Nowruz, or new day, is the first day of spring and the most cherished of all the Iranian festivals.
Tradition dates Nowruz as far back as 15,000 years ago and what we have today as Nowruz with its' uniquely Iranian characteristics has been celebrated for at least 3,000 years and is deeply rooted in the rituals and traditions of the Zoroastrian belief system in the Sassanid period.

Nowruz is also the beginning of the new year for Persians. This year, it will be in March 20,2008, 09:18:19 AM.
I wish you a new year, full of happiness and success.

Thank you letter for input!

Dear friends!

Many thanks for your kind words (including off-blog posts!).
I did some minor changes according to what you suggested.

To survive, every blog needs to be visited , so please don't spare clicking and sending your comments. Another issue is posting new stuffs. I beleive for us, nosy Iranians!, nothing is more interesting than photos. All of us would like to see how our friends are dealing with their bald scalp or periorbital wrinlkling. (for me this has some conflicts of interest, certainly!).

Anyway, today is friday and a good oppurtunity to say your dear spouse that you're busy with serious works! and then digging your albums....In my opinion "friday" is one of the biggest inventions of the human! It divides our life to bearable fractions....

When we were med students

I just dug out this photo; taken 21 years ago. Definitely we were much handsomer than what you can see in this photo!

Share your old photos...or new ones, if you think you're younger now!
